This the block that Lynette sent me, I actually had to go check the original email to Alex to remind myself what I had asked for, Stars or Pinwheels in Autumn tones. I love that it has both elements and the red and green are the colours of the trees around my place at the moment.

Solomons Star for Lynette

This my Block for Lynette in Queensland. It was finished and posted on Friday, I let Lynette know that was finished but life got in the way until now to post a picture and blog about it. If you want to know what I've been up to come over here and have a read. Oh and by the way I will post a full picture of the block.

Here is a sneek peek ant Kym's block she wanted a log cabin with a orange centre and purple with yellow. So here it is I hope you like it, I must say it was a unusual colour combination to make but very effective, cant wait to see the finished quilt. *hugs* sue

Hi ladies!

Firstly thank you so much for your patience and well wishes.  I'm slowly starting to feel better but might still have this stupid cough for months!!

I've emailed you your partners for May.  This is the first month we haven't had any new members!

Please let me know if you don't get the email.  Also please let me know if I haven't added your blog to the sidebar and you'd like it added and it you don't have access to post on the blog.

I've found sometimes the emails (which are send from blogger not me) don't always get through or end up in the spam folders!

Please enjoy your swaps and contact me with any problems.  I'll be checking my email and lurk around here more often now that I seem to be on the mend.

My blocks for April are going out in the mail tomorrow morning and I hope you like them.

Hi everyone

I know I've been a little absent and hard to reach. I apologise.  I've been sick for over 2 weeks and just found out it's whooping cough turning into pneumonia!

Please bear with me!  April blocks will be sent out in the next day or so (will let you know) and partners sent out before the end of the month.

I apologise once again but I really haven't been myself. :-(

Above is the reason it has taken me 3 days to post that Sues lovely block made it across the country. My new grand daughter arrived at 3.54am yesterday morning, weighing in at 2885g and 47cm long. She is a month early as her mum our daughter Kate had high blood pressure and liver function problems. Miss Violet was induced at 8.40pm on 19th and born before her daddy made it back to the hospital, I was on Lily watch at there place. When Lily woke at 6.30am to find no daddy but only grandma she was upset until I told her where her dad was, she then became quiet excited. 

Thanks Sue for a great block and being my partner this month.
